Mr Fit's Biography
Mr. Fit, a.k.a. Ray Browning, is a renaissance sportsmanhe's a television host, a fitness educator, an author, a former professional triathlete, and an avid outdoorsman.
As an athlete, Ray captured seven Ironman titles between 1988 and 1996 and won the 1993 Winter Triathlon World Championships. He was a member of Fischer Factory XC Team and captain of the Tubbs 10K Snowshoe Team. Now that he's hung up his tri-geek suit, Ray spends his outdoor time trail running, road cycling, mountain biking, nordic skiing, and snowshoeing in Nederland, Colorado.
Armed with a master's degree in Kinesiology, Ray works as the fitness products manager
for Asimba.com, and has also been a fitness consultant for a variety of outdoor gear manufacturers.
He hosts the PBS television show "Trailside: Make Your Own Adventure," and has appeared on many other shows and in a number of magazines, including Outside, Runner's World, Rolling Stone and GQ.
Most important, Mr. Fit loves to be outside, knows a lot about how best to use your body out there, and is eager to share it all with us.
