The Spread:
Adjacent to Curaçaos Undersea National Park and Sea Aquarium, and about ten miles from the international airport, Breezes labels itself a super inclusive. That means that at the 341-room resort even premium drinks are included in the pricing and no tipping allowed. Once families arrive theres little in the way of added expenses, except for outings, spa treatments, and scuba. Relax on the 1,500 feet of white sand, and for cultural explorations take the resorts complimentary shuttle into Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Why Families Love It:
Breezes packs many exciting options for families into its all-inclusive price. Join circus workshops, take reggae classes, play tennis, ride bikes, sail hobie cats, try windsurfing, paddle kayaks, and try paddleboats. The large pool has a childrens section and theres a separate childrens pool as well.
The Kids Club, open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily, has programming for all ages, from infants to age 12. Although the club closes during the dinner hour, there are often other scheduled activities and sometimes Breezes hosts a childrens dinner. Along with sandcastle building, tennis, and beach games, kids activities include excursions to the nearby aquarium, laser tag, and learning circus arts such as trampoline, trapeze, and juggling. In addition to joining the supervised childrens program, youngsters ages eight and older are welcome to participate in most of the resorts adult activities. While theres no longer a teen center, Breezes does schedule some teen circus activities and ages 14 and up may participate in the Discover Scuba program as well.
Special Events & Activities:
Every Monday, Curaçao Cultural Night on the pool deck typically includes a disco for teens, a carnival show, and musicians playing traditional island music.
