The Hartley Guest Ranch
CAPACITY – 12 guests

SADDLE UP – This is a working ranch, where guests play cowboy on all-day rides moving cattle around the open plains and high mesas of northeastern New Mexico. Trail rides skirt canyons, rimrock, and mesas—and riders choose how far to go

OUT OF THE SADDLE – Hike to dinosaur digs, where you'll find fossilized footprints and Apache petroglyphs, or fish for bass and catfish in a stocked pond. A day of Class III-IV rafting on the Rio Grande near Taos is offered for $92.

LODGING – The six-bedroom guest house is decorated with western gear; some rooms have a private bathroom with Jacuzzi.
