Samsung T9B

By Jeremy Spencer

Samsung T9B
(Nigel Cox)

Cords, schmords. Bluetooth—God love it—has finally arrived in high-fidelity stereo. Available in June, Samsung's sleek little T9B is a flash-based audio-video unit with FM and voice recording, 30 hours of music playback per charge, and the aforementioned streaming capability. Pair it with wireless earbuds for 21st-century headbanging: Coming in at under an ounce, the noise-isolating Etymotic Research Ety8 is a thing of beauty—killer sound, a toggle control (so you can stash your player and forget it), a neck cable, up to ten hours of battery life, and a range of 33 feet, should you want to run around like a dog off the chain. I'm grinning so hard my teeth hurt. 2GB & 4GB, price TBD; samsung.com. $199 ($299 with iPod adapter); etymotic.com
