Arc de Triomphe or Bust


With the recent news that the Tour DuPont, set to kick off on the first of this month, has had its status upgraded by the Union Cycliste International--making it the most prestigious cycling race outside of Europe--perhaps even more elite racers will look to America's premier event as a tune-up for the Tour de France. WellÇgood luck. Since the race's inception in 1989, no DuPont winner--Greg LeMond included--has even come close to grabbing that season's yellow jersey.
