Stephanie got her outdoor career started as a canoe guide in Minnesota's Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. From there, her wanderlust led her to Alaska, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, and the Caribbean before she ventured into the halls of Northwestern University for a graduate degree in journalism. For the past two years Stephanie has set up camp in the Destinations

Kimberly got her first dose of outdoor adrenaline at 14, kayaking the Middle Fork of Idaho’s Salmon River. Since then, she has mountain biked, hiked, camped and climbed coast to coast, with occasional hops overseas. In the process of finishing up a graduate degree in journalism from UC Berkeley, Kimberly is currently holed up in her Oakland apartment, where she

Outside Online producer Amy Marr began logging cross-country travel miles at the tender age of nine months in her family's big red Ford van. After earning a bachelor's degree at Williams College in the bucolic Berkshires, she worked as a business writer and media manager in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and eventually parlayed her love of the outdoors into a job leading
hiking and biking trips and researching new adventures for Backroads, the Berkeley-based travel company.
