Rain, rain go away

Today we drove a lot. We packed up our NOLS gear and personal gear at about 7:30 a.m. in Conway, Washington. Then, we were on the road in the van at 8:45.
We arrived at Sicamous, a small Canadian city in British Columbia, at 5:30 p.m. Due to rain, we decided to stay in a motel rather than tent. We had a great group discussion and then we made mac and cheese for dinner.
To be frank, we're all sick of the rain and camping out in the rain and are very glad to be in a hotel for the night. The general consensus is excitement and anticipation for our exploration.
Tomorrow we will arrive in Golden, B.C., one day ahead of schedule.
