Outside Adventure Grants 1999
June 30, 1999

As the expedition date comes closer and closer, final decisions and preparations are being made. To ease this process each team member has taken on a specialized duty; Nate is the equipment manager, Dave is the food manager and I'm the logistics manager. This has made preparations go more smoothly and has made sure no aspect of the expedition is forgotten. A large part of my job has been making phone calls to various people such as Jim Goodbar and Del Smith to finalize cave dates and confirm appointments. Everybody I have talked to has been incredibly helpful and has shown a large amount of enthusiasm for helping us. The excitement continues to grow as more equipment shows up in the mail and all of our preparations start to form an expedition.
