The 23 Peaks Expedition

Long leaps across the rooftops of the Americas

Phil on Victoria Peak

Phil Buck and the 23 Peaks team is headed back home after trying to capture Doyle's Delight, the highest point in Belize. In March the team did a sweep through Central America and thought they had bagged Belize's highest--but later found out they climbed the wrong mountain. Bad weather, a highwater river, and one nasty, sirloin-looking cut on Phil's hand repelled the crew this time, though.

He has almost completed this 23 Peaks quest--all that remains is Canada's Mount Logan and Doyle's Delight, which will now have to be snagged on another trip.
